Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The cleat hook is designed for easy installation. Use appropriate screws (not included) suitable for the mounting surface (e.g., wood, drywall with anchors). Position the hook where the cord needs to be secured and mark the screw hole positions. Drill pilot holes if necessary, then firmly attach the cleat hook to the surface.
Compatibility: This cleat hook is compatible with most common cords and ropes used for blinds, awnings, flagpoles, and general utility purposes. Ensure the rope or cord thickness is appropriate for the cleat's size to allow for secure tying.
Care: To maintain the polished brass finish, wipe the cleat hook with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks or to restore shine, use a damp cloth and mild soap, then dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the polished surface.
