FAQs
Will this fit a standard crib mattress?
No, this is exclusively designed for the Mamas & Papas Petite Cot (55cm x 91cm). It will be too small for standard-sized mattresses.
Is the fabric noisy when the baby moves?
No, the quilted design helps dampen sound, preventing the plastic-like crinkling noises found in some cheaper mattress protectors.
How often should I wash the protector?
It is recommended to wash whenever it becomes soiled. Having a second protector on hand is useful for quick changes.
Can I iron this product?
No, ironing can damage the waterproof backing and the quilted structure of the fabric.
Does it meet fire safety standards?
Yes, it complies with all relevant British and European safety standards for nursery bedding products.
Troubleshooting
Protector slipping or bunching under the sheet
Ensure the mattress size matches the Petite Cot dimensions and that the protector is pulled tight across all four corners.
Liquid seeped through to the mattress
Check the surface of the protector for punctures or tears. If the waterproof membrane is damaged, the protector should be replaced to maintain hygiene.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install, place the protector flat over the mattress, ensuring the corners are properly aligned with the 55cm x 91cm dimensions. Always pull the edges taut to prevent wrinkles. Regarding care, the product is machine washable; use a gentle cycle with a mild detergent suitable for nursery items. Avoid using harsh bleach or chemicals, as these can compromise the waterproof backing. For best results, air dry or tumble dry on a low heat setting. Always inspect the item for wear after multiple washes to ensure the integrity of the waterproof barrier remains intact.
