Clear any debris from the jaw tracks and apply a light machine oil to the worm gear.
Ensure the jaw is fully tightened against the flats of the bolt head before applying torque.
These wrenches do not require complex setup; they are ready for use immediately out of the box. To ensure optimal performance and longevity, wipe the tools down with a clean, dry cloth after each use to remove grease, metal shavings, or moisture. If the adjustment screw feels gritty or stiff, apply a small amount of machine oil to the threads and work the jaw open and closed several times to distribute the lubrication. When not in use, store the set in a dry toolbox or on a wall-mounted tool board to prevent exposure to excessive humidity or chemical corrosive agents.
