The Scotch C38 weighted refillable tape dispenser is an essential desktop tool designed for office professionals, students, and home organizers who require consistent, one-handed tape application. Its primary benefit is a stable, non-skid weighted base that prevents movement during use, though users should note that it is specifically optimized for standard 2.54 cm core tapes and may not accommodate oversized industrial rolls.

This dispenser is designed for standard adhesive tapes on a 2.54 cm core.
The base is weighted for standard office tapes; heavy-duty or exceptionally thick industrial tapes may require a specialized industrial dispenser.
Simply remove the empty core from the spindle and slide a new roll onto the core holder.
The Scotch C38 is constructed from 100% recycled plastic.
Yes, it includes one dispenser and three rolls of Scotch Magic invisible tape.
The blade is integrated into the unit for stability; it is not designed for individual replacement.
Check that the tape roll is centered on the core holder and not rubbing against the side walls of the dispenser.
Clean the blade surface with a small amount of isopropyl alcohol to remove adhesive residue that may be catching the tape.
Wipe the bottom non-skid pad with a damp cloth to remove dust and restore its grip on the desk surface.
To set up the dispenser, lift the existing tape core holder and slide on a new roll of standard 2.54 cm core tape, ensuring the adhesive side is facing downward as it feeds over the cutting blade. This device is compatible with most standard office tapes on 2.54 cm cores. To maintain optimal performance, occasionally wipe the metal blade with a dry cloth to remove any adhesive buildup. Avoid using the blade to cut materials other than tape, such as paper or twine, to prevent premature dulling of the cutting edge.
