FAQs
Can these be used on any pot material?
Yes, they are compatible with ceramic, terracotta, plastic, and metal pots, provided the rim is wide and rigid enough to support the figurine.
Are these cat figurines weatherproof?
They are designed for both indoor and outdoor use, though bringing them inside during extreme winter weather can help preserve the bronze finish.
How many come in a pack?
Each order includes two cat figurines.
Do these require any special installation tools?
No, they are designed to rest on the edge of the pot using gravity and simple geometry.
Will these damage the finish of my plant pots?
When used carefully, they should not cause damage; however, avoid sliding them repeatedly across delicate glazed surfaces to prevent potential scratching.
Troubleshooting
The cat figurine keeps tipping over
Ensure the rim of the pot is flat and not too thin; if the rim is narrow, try adding a small piece of double-sided mounting tape underneath the figurine for extra security.
Discoloration or spotting appearing on the surface
Gently clean the figurine with mild soapy water and a soft cloth, then dry thoroughly; ensure the surface is kept free of standing water.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Adds an immediate decorative element to plain plant pots
- Sturdy construction suitable for outdoor use
- Pack of two provides great value for multiple plant setups
- Lightweight and easy to reposition
Cons
- May not balance well on very thin or flexible plastic rims
- No integrated locking mechanism to prevent accidental knocks
- Limited to specific cat design
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up your Plant Pots Pals, simply align the cat's belly groove with the edge of your planter and adjust until it sits flush. They are compatible with most standard rim thicknesses. For care, wipe the figurines occasionally with a damp, soft cloth to remove dust or garden debris. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive scouring pads, as these can strip the bronze finish and cause the material to oxidize prematurely.
