FAQs

How long does the built-in battery last?

Battery life varies depending on the brightness and color settings used. For continuous maximum output, it is recommended to use the AC adapter.

Can I connect more than two lights together?

Yes, the TL60 lights can be spliced together in creative configurations. However, the physical connection mechanism is designed for ease of use, and very long chains might require additional support.

Is the remote control included in the 4-Light Kit?

The 4-Light Kit includes the four TL60 tube lights and necessary accessories like power adapters and a carrying case. An optional remote control is sold separately.

What is the difference between HSI and RGB control?

HSI (Hue, Saturation, Intensity) provides a more intuitive color control system that mimics how we perceive color. RGB (Red, Green, Blue) controls the intensity of the primary color channels. HSI typically offers a wider and more controllable color gamut.

How do I update the firmware on the TL60 lights?

Firmware updates are typically managed through the Godox Light App. Ensure your lights are connected to the app and follow the on-screen prompts for any available updates.

Can these lights be used outdoors?

Yes, the TL60 lights are suitable for outdoor use, especially with their built-in battery. However, they are not weather-sealed, so protection from rain and extreme environmental conditions is advised.

What is the warranty period for the Godox TL60 4-Light Kit?

Please refer to the warranty information provided with your purchase or on the official Godox website for specific warranty details, as it can vary by region and retailer.

Troubleshooting

Light will not turn on

Ensure the built-in battery is charged or the AC adapter is securely connected and functioning. Check if the power switch is in the 'on' position.

Cannot connect to Godox Light App

Verify that Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone and that the light is powered on. Try closing and reopening the app, or restarting the light.

Inconsistent color output

Check the selected color mode (RGB, HSI, CCT, Gel). Ensure no gel filters are accidentally engaged if using CCT or RGB modes. Reset the light to factory settings if necessary.

Remote control not responding

Confirm the optional remote is paired with the lights and has sufficient battery power. Ensure you are within the effective range of the remote.

FX effects not working correctly

Ensure the light is not in CCT or RGB mode. Select the FX mode and choose a specific effect. Some effects may have adjustable parameters.
