Product Information

Full details

The Joie Serina 2in1 Swing Rocker is designed for parents seeking a versatile and soothing solution for their baby, offering both swinging and portable rocking functionality to provide comfort in any room. Its key benefit is the dual-purpose design that adapts to your baby's needs and your home's layout, providing multiple motion options and comfort features. While highly adaptable, remember the swing unit itself, though designed to fit European doorways, is not as compact or portable as the detachable rocker.

FAQs

What is the maximum weight limit for the Joie Serina 2in1 Swing Rocker?

The Joie Serina 2in1 Swing Rocker is designed for infants from birth up to a maximum weight of 9kg.

Are the fabric parts of the swing and rocker machine washable?

Yes, the plush infant body support and seat pad are removable and machine washable. Always refer to the care labels for specific washing instructions.

Can I use the swing with batteries, or does it require an A/C adapter?

The Joie Serina 2in1 Swing Rocker offers both options. It can be powered by the included A/C adapter for continuous use or by batteries for portability. Batteries are not included.

How do I switch between the different swing motions?

The swing seat can be easily twisted to change the motion from front-to-back to side-to-side, or vice-versa, depending on your baby's preference.

Is the swing easy to move around the house?

The swing frame features 2 wheels and an integrated handle, making it easier to maneuver from room to room. The detached rocker also has a pivoting carry handle for easy portability.

Does the swing have a timer function for the sounds or swing motion?

Info needed: Please refer to your product's user manual for details on any automatic timer functions for the swing or sound features.

Can the toy bar be removed or rotated?

Yes, the overhead toy bar is pivoting, allowing you to move it out of the way for easy access to your baby, or remove it entirely if desired.

Troubleshooting

Swing or vibration is not working.

First, check the power source. If using the A/C adapter, ensure it is securely plugged into both the swing and a working wall outlet. If using batteries, confirm they are fresh and inserted correctly with the proper polarity. Also, ensure your baby is within the 9kg weight limit, as exceeding this can affect performance.

Sounds or music are not playing.

Check the volume setting on the control panel. Ensure the unit is powered on and that the sound function is selected. If using batteries, check their charge level.

Baby doesn't seem comfortable or settled.

Experiment with the different settings. Try adjusting the 3-position recline to find the optimal angle for your baby. Cycle through the 6 swing speeds and the two swing directions (front-to-back or side-to-side) to see which motion your baby prefers. Also, try different lullabies, nature sounds, or the 2-speed vibration feature. Ensure the harness is snug but not too tight.

Rocker feels unstable or wobbly.

Ensure the rocker seat is correctly docked onto the swing base if used as part of the swing. When used as a standalone rocker, make sure it is placed on a flat, stable surface. Verify that all assembly connections are secure and tightened according to the manual.
