FAQs

Does this keyboard support hot-swappable switches?

The INZONE KBD-H75 uses specialized magnetic-mechanical switches. It is not intended for user-swapping with standard mechanical switches.

Is the RGB lighting customizable per key?

Yes, you can use the INZONE Hub software to customize the RGB backlighting for individual keys and apply various lighting effects.

Does the keyboard have internal memory for profiles?

Yes, the onboard memory allows you to save your performance and lighting settings directly to the keyboard for use on different computers.

Can I use this keyboard with a Mac or console?

The keyboard is designed for Windows 10/11. While it may function for basic typing on other operating systems, advanced features like the 8000Hz polling and INZONE Hub customization will not be available.

What is the material of the keycaps?

The keycaps are made from PBT (Polybutylene terephthalate), which is known for its durability and resistance to the 'shine' that develops on cheaper ABS plastic keys over time.

Troubleshooting

Keyboard not detected by INZONE Hub

Ensure the keyboard is plugged into a USB 3.0 or higher port and try a different cable or port if the connection is intermittent.

Polling rate seems unstable

Close background applications that may be hogging CPU resources and ensure you are connected directly to the PC, not a USB hub or monitor pass-through.

Key actuation feels inconsistent

Open the INZONE Hub and recalibrate the actuation points for the specific keys that feel off.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Extremely low latency with 8000Hz polling
Durable, premium CNC-machined aluminium construction
Highly responsive magnetic-mechanical switches
Space-saving 75% form factor
Gasket mounting offers excellent typing feel

Cons

Wired-only connection might not suit all desk aesthetics
No wireless functionality
Higher learning curve for customizing actuation settings
Limited to Windows 10/11 environments

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: Connect the keyboard using the provided USB-C cable to a high-speed USB port on your PC. For optimal performance with the 8000Hz polling rate, avoid using USB hubs and connect directly to the motherboard's rear USB ports.
Software: Download and install the INZONE Hub software from the Sony support website to enable custom actuation profiles and RGB lighting control.
Compatibility: Officially supports Windows 10 and Windows 11. It uses a standard QWERTY US International layout.
Care: The PBT keycaps are resistant to shine, but should be cleaned periodically with a soft, dry brush. The aluminium chassis can be wiped down with a lightly dampened microfiber cloth; avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
