Product Information

Full details

The Vivactive Protective Pad (60x60cm, 20 Pack) is designed for adults seeking reliable, cost-effective protection against everyday leaks and spills. Its key benefit is providing a waterproof barrier to keep surfaces clean and dry, making it ideal for protecting beds, chairs, and furniture. A potential caveat is that these pads are best suited for light leaks and may not offer sufficient absorbency for heavy or prolonged fluid exposure.

Are these pads suitable for heavy incontinence?

The Vivactive Protective Pads are designed for light leaks and everyday spills. For heavy incontinence, more absorbent specialized products are recommended.

Can these pads be reused?

No, these are disposable pads and are intended for single use only to ensure hygiene and effectiveness.

How should I dispose of a used pad?

Fold the soiled pad to contain any liquid and dispose of it in your regular household waste bin. Do not flush down the toilet.

What surfaces can I use these pads on?

You can use them on mattresses, bed sheets, sofas, chairs, car seats, and pet bedding. They are versatile for protecting various furniture and bedding.

Are these pads washable?

No, these pads are disposable and not designed to be washed or reused.

Troubleshooting

Pad does not seem to be protecting the surface.

Ensure the pad is fully unfolded and lying flat. Check that the liquid has not exceeded the pad's capacity or gone over the edges. Replace the pad if it is saturated or damaged.

Pad shifts or moves from its position.

Try to smooth out the surface underneath the pad. Ensure the pad is centered on the area needing protection. For some applications, a slightly heavier or more absorbent pad might stay in place better, or a fitted sheet or cover can help secure it.

Liquid has seeped through the pad.

This can happen if the leak is very heavy, prolonged, or if the pad has been in place for too long after becoming soiled. Replace the pad immediately and consider using multiple pads or a more absorbent product for future needs.

Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions

Setup:

These protective pads require no setup. Simply unwrap a pad and place it directly onto the surface you wish to protect. Ensure the pad lies flat for maximum coverage and effectiveness. For optimal results, position the pad so it covers the area most likely to encounter leaks or spills.

Compatibility:

The Vivactive Protective Pads are compatible with a wide range of surfaces including mattresses, bed sheets, sofas, chairs, car seats, and pet bedding. They are suitable for use by adults experiencing light leaks, children during potty training, and pet owners.

Care:

These are disposable pads and are intended for single use only. After use, carefully fold the soiled pad to contain any liquid and dispose of it in your household waste bin. Do not flush used pads down the toilet. The surfaces underneath the pad should remain clean and dry if the pad has been used appropriately and changed promptly after soiling. Ensure the area is cleaned if any liquid seeps through due to excessive soiling or pad displacement.
