Full details
Petface The Dog Deli Duck Sausage Slices are high-quality, protein-rich treats designed for dog owners seeking a nutritious reward for their canine companions. Made with 72% prime duck and featuring no added salt or sugar, these snacks offer a healthy alternative to processed treats. While these slices are perfect for training and on-the-go rewards, owners should note that they are intended as supplemental snacks rather than a complete meal replacement, and you should always check if your dog has specific sensitivities to duck protein.

FAQs
Are these treats suitable for puppies?
Yes, they are suitable for all breeds, but ensure your puppy is old enough to handle solid treat textures and monitor them while they eat.
Can I feed these as a main meal?
No, these are formulated as complementary treats and should only be used as part of a balanced diet alongside a complete meal.
Do these contain grain or wheat?
The product focuses on 72% duck; always check the specific ingredient label on the back of your current pack for any secondary binders or fillers.
Is the bag recyclable?
Check your local municipal recycling guidelines, as flexible plastic pouches often have specific requirements for soft plastic collection.
How many treats should I give my dog per day?
As a general rule, treats should not make up more than 10% of your dog's daily calories. Adjust based on your dog's size and activity level.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
These treats are ready to serve straight from the pouch. No preparation is required. To maintain quality:
- Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ensure the pouch is fully sealed after every use to prevent the duck slices from becoming brittle.
- Compatibility: Safe for all dog breeds; however, always monitor your dog the first time they try a new treat to ensure no digestive upset occurs.
- Portion Control: While healthy, treats should not exceed 10% of your dog's total daily caloric intake. Adjust your dog's main meal portion if you have used several treats during training sessions.
