FAQs

What makes the Ai-DUAL insert different?

The Ai-DUAL insert uses Artificial Intelligence for its dual-layer urethane construction. A soft outer layer ensures a good feel, while a firmer inner layer stabilizes ball speed across the entire face, leading to better distance control even on off-center hits.

Who is the 'Square 2 Square' construction for?

This construction is for golfers who tend to twist the putter face during their stroke. It resists twisting, helping the face remain square to the target line for more accurate putts.

How does the built-in forward press work?

The putter has 2° of pre-set shaft lean. This naturally positions your hands forward at address, creating a stable setup that discourages opening the face during the stroke and promotes a repeatable impact.

Is this putter suitable for beginners?

Yes, the enhanced alignment features and forgiveness from the Ai-DUAL insert can be very beneficial for beginners learning to control speed and direction.

What is the toe hang of this putter?

This is a face-balanced putter with a 90° UP toe hang, meaning it naturally rests with the toe pointing upwards. It is designed for a straight-back, straight-through stroke.

How should I clean the putter face?

Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the face clean after each use. Avoid abrasive materials to maintain the integrity of the insert and grooves.

What lengths are available?

The Ai-DUAL Square 2 Square Max 1/2 Ball Putter is available in standard lengths of 33", 34", and 35".

Troubleshooting

Putter feels unfamiliar or stroke feels different

This is common due to the center-shafted design and built-in forward press. Spend time on the practice green to adapt your stroke. Focus on the natural stability and face-squareness it provides.

Ball speed inconsistent despite the Ai-DUAL insert

Ensure the putter face is clean and free of debris. Check that your grip and stroke tempo are consistent. Minor variations in strike location can still affect ball speed.

Alignment system is not helping aim

Experiment with how you use the 1/2 ball alignment aid. Ensure you are consistently framing the ball and aligning it with your intended target line.

Reduced distance on putts

Verify you are striking the ball in the intended zone of the face. The Ai-DUAL insert is most effective with consistent contact. Ensure your stroke has adequate length and tempo.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Promotes consistent ball speed across the face thanks to AI-DUAL insert.
  • Encourages an earlier and more consistent forward roll of the ball.
  • Zero-torque construction enhances stability and face control during the stroke.
  • Built-in forward press feature simplifies setup for a repeatable stroke.
  • Offers excellent alignment assistance for confident aiming.

Cons

  • The center-shafted design and built-in forward press may require an adjustment period for traditional putter users.
  • May not be ideal for golfers who prefer a significant toe hang or a traditional setup.
  • The unique alignment system might take some practice to fully utilize.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup:

  1. Ensure the putter is gripped comfortably with your hands positioned naturally. The built-in forward press will automatically set your hands slightly ahead of the ball.
  2. Use the 1/2 Ball alignment system to frame your golf ball, ensuring it is centered with the target line.
  3. Practice your stroke, focusing on maintaining a stable tempo and keeping the putter face square through impact.

Compatibility:

  • This putter is designed for adult golfers of all genders.
  • Available in standard lengths: 33", 34", and 35".
  • Suitable for both right-handed (RH) and left-handed (LH) golfers.

Care:

  • Clean the putter face after each round using a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. This ensures the Ai-DUAL insert and FRD grooves function optimally.
  • Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the insert and finish.
  • Store the putter in your golf bag away from extreme temperatures and moisture when not in use.
