How do I clean the shelf?

Clean the shelf using a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals. Wipe dry immediately after cleaning.

What are the dimensions of this specific shelf variant?

What is the color of the shelf?

What type of wall fixings should I use?

Always use wall fixings appropriate for your specific wall type (e.g., drywall, brick, concrete) to ensure secure mounting. These are typically not included with the shelf.

Troubleshooting

Shelf is not level

Re-check bracket installation. Ensure brackets are perfectly aligned using a level before mounting the shelf. Adjust bracket positions as needed.

Shelf feels unstable or wobbly

Verify that the correct wall fixings were used for your wall type. Ensure all screws are tightened securely and that the brackets are firmly attached to the wall and supporting the shelf properly.

Visible wood imperfections or color variation

This is a natural characteristic of solid, handmade wood products. Embrace these variations as part of the product's unique charm and rustic appeal.

Setup:

  1. Gather Tools: You will typically need a drill, screwdriver, level, measuring tape, and appropriate wall fixings (screws and wall plugs) for your wall type (e.g., drywall, brick, concrete). These are usually not included.
  2. Mark Position: Use a level to mark the desired position on the wall. Ensure the marks are level and evenly spaced.
  3. Install Brackets: Securely attach the floating shelf brackets to the wall at your marked points, ensuring they are robust and capable of supporting the shelf's weight.
  4. Mount Shelf: Slide the shelf onto the installed brackets. Some shelves may require small screws from underneath to secure them to the brackets.
