Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Simply plug the USB Type-A end into a USB 3.0 port on your computer (PC or Mac) and the USB Type-B 3.0 end into the corresponding port on your peripheral device (e.g., printer, external hard drive). Ensure the Type-B connector is fully inserted; its unique shape prevents incorrect orientation.
Compatibility: This cable is designed for USB 3.0 Type-B devices. It is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 on the Type-A side, but speeds will be limited to the slower standard. Ensure your peripheral device has a USB 3.0 Type-B port to take advantage of SuperSpeed data transfer.
Care: To maintain optimal performance and longevity, avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cable. Keep connectors clean by gently wiping them with a dry, lint-free cloth. Store the cable in a cool, dry place when not in use. Do not expose the cable to excessive moisture or extreme temperatures.
