Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Setting the Time: Pull the crown (the small knob on the side) out to the furthest position. Rotate the crown until the correct time is displayed. Push the crown back in fully to start the watch.
- Setting the Date: Pull the crown out to the first position (one click). Rotate the crown until the correct date is displayed. *Note: Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM to prevent potential damage to the watch mechanism.*
Compatibility:
This is a standalone analog watch and does not require compatibility with other devices or software. The leather strap is designed to fit most standard wrist sizes. Replacement straps of a similar lug width can be used if desired.
Care:
- Cleaning: Wipe the watch case and crystal gently with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Clean the leather strap with a leather conditioner occasionally to maintain its suppleness.
- Water Resistance: Ensure the crown is pushed fully in before exposing the watch to moisture. Rinse with fresh water after exposure to salt water or chemicals. Avoid prolonged immersion.
- Strap Care: Leather straps should be kept dry when possible. If the strap becomes wet, allow it to air dry naturally away from direct heat.
