Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: To install, pre-drill a pilot hole slightly smaller than the screw's core diameter in the material. Ensure the pilot hole is deep enough to accommodate the entire screw length. Use an appropriate socket or wrench that fits the M12 hexagon head to drive the screw firmly into the material. Avoid overtightening, which can strip the head or damage the surrounding material.
Compatibility: These screws are compatible with wood, timber, and concrete when used with appropriate wall plugs or anchors for concrete. They are designed to be used with standard hex-head driving tools.
Care: For prolonged durability, especially in exposed environments, periodic inspection for signs of wear or corrosion is recommended. If minor surface rust appears on the zinc plating, it can typically be cleaned with a mild detergent and water. For heavily exposed areas, consider applying a protective coating if extended longevity is critical.
