Setup, Compatibility & Care
To begin, insert two new AAA alkaline batteries into the battery compartment. The 3-step setup is initiated by selecting the device mode (TV, SAT, AUD, DVD), holding the magic button, and entering the code corresponding to your hardware brand. For care, keep the device in a dry environment and clean the buttons with a dry or lightly dampened microfiber cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or submerging the device in water, as the internal IR hardware is sensitive to moisture.
