The Neilsen 6L Manual Fluid Extractor is a versatile, manual-pump tool designed for home mechanics, marine enthusiasts, and workshop technicians who need a clean way to remove non-flammable fluids from small engines. Its primary benefit is the ability to perform oil changes and fluid evacuations without needing an electrical power source or traditional drain plugs, though users must be aware that it is strictly for non-flammable liquids and cannot be used for petrol or diesel.

No. This device is strictly for non-flammable liquids. Using it with fuel creates a significant fire hazard.
No, it is entirely manual and relies on a hand-operated vacuum pump.
Use the largest tube that fits into the access point to maximize flow rate. Use the 4mm tube for the most restrictive openings.
The lid can be removed once the vacuum pressure is released, allowing you to pour out the collected fluid into an appropriate disposal container.
It is compatible with most engines, provided there is a clear path to the bottom of the oil pan or reservoir via the dipstick tube or filler hole.
Check that the canister lid is fully tightened and sealed. Ensure the suction tube is firmly pushed into the inlet nozzle.
Thick or cold oil flows slowly. Run the engine for a few minutes to warm the oil, which reduces its viscosity and allows the pump to move it more efficiently.
Do not pull with excessive force. Gently rotate the tube while applying light pressure to free it from internal engine components.
Setup: To begin, ensure the canister lid is tightly secured. Select the probe that best fits the target opening and firmly attach it to the intake nozzle.
Compatibility: This device is compatible with non-flammable fluids including engine oil, water, coolant, and power steering fluid. It is NOT compatible with petrol, diesel, or highly volatile solvents.
Care: After each use, wipe down the exterior of the pump. Flush the suction tubes with a mild detergent or warm water if you have been extracting viscous or dirty fluids to prevent clogs. Always store the unit in a clean, dry place, ensuring the vacuum seals remain debris-free.
