Setup, Compatibility & Care
When working with this fabric, ensure you use a ballpoint or stretch needle to prevent skipped stitches or fabric damage. It is recommended to use a walking foot on your sewing machine to maintain an even feed, especially when attaching cuffs or neckbands. Always pre-wash the fabric to account for any initial shrinkage before cutting. To maintain the integrity of the organic fibers and the elasticity, machine wash at moderate temperatures and avoid harsh chemical bleaches. Laying flat to dry is recommended to prevent the heavy fabric from distorting on a hanger.
