Full details
These chlorine granules are a popular choice for maintaining safe and bacteria-free pool and spa water. They are rapid dissolving, long-lasting, and have minimal impact on the water's pH, making them suitable for shock dosing smaller above-ground pools. To use, maintain pH levels between 7.2-7.6 and free chlorine residuals of 3-5 mg/l for spas or 1-3 mg/l for swimming pools. For water temperatures below 20°C or if unsure, pre-dissolve the granules in a plastic container with water before adding to the pool or spa while the pumps are running. Shock dose periodically, such as weekly or after heavy use, to eliminate contamination.
