The Gardening Naturally Seed Tray (Medium) is designed for home gardeners looking to start seeds effectively and ensure healthy plant development. Its primary benefit is providing a stable, well-draining environment that promotes strong root growth. A key consideration is that this listing is for the tray only; a propagator cover must be purchased separately if you wish to create a mini-greenhouse environment.

The medium seed tray measures approximately 22 cm in width, 18 cm in length, and 5.5 cm in height.
No, this listing is for the seed tray only. The propagator cover is sold separately but is designed to fit this tray.
This is a single, large cell tray, suitable for sowing multiple seeds directly or for transplanting seedlings later.
Yes, the tray can be used outdoors, but it's best placed in a sheltered location like a cold frame or greenhouse to protect young seedlings from harsh weather.
The seed tray is constructed from durable, high-quality plastic, designed for longevity.
No, the propagator covers are sized to match specific tray dimensions. You would need the propagator cover designed for the 38cm tray.
Ensure the tray is receiving adequate light. If using a propagator cover, remove it once most seeds have germinated to prevent over-stretching.
Check that drainage holes are not blocked. Ensure you are not overwatering. Allow the top layer of soil to dry slightly between waterings.
This tray is designed for moderate durability. Ensure it's placed on a stable surface and avoid excessive stress. For heavier use, consider the larger 38cm variant.
Setup: No assembly is required. Simply place the seed tray on a level surface, fill with your chosen seed-starting mix, sow your seeds, and water gently. For enhanced germination, place the optional propagator cover over the tray.
Compatibility: This seed tray is designed to work seamlessly with Gardening Naturally propagator covers. It is also compatible with standard seed-starting practices and soil mixes. The larger 38cm variant is listed as compatible with the 'Whitefurze Seed Tray - 38cm' model.
Care: After use, clean the tray thoroughly with warm, soapy water. Rinse well and allow it to dry completely before storing to prevent mold or mildew. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could scratch the surface.
