Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install, ensure your stair surfaces are clean, dry, and free of debris before placing the treads. While the weight of the rubber generally holds the mats in place, you may choose to use an outdoor-rated double-sided adhesive tape if you are placing them in areas prone to high winds or extreme movement.
Compatibility: These treads work best on flat, rigid surfaces like painted wood, concrete, tile, or composite decking. They are not recommended for loose carpet.
Care: Maintenance is minimal. For routine dirt, use a damp cloth. For heavy mud or debris, hose the mats down outdoors and allow them to air dry before replacing them on the stairs.
