Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
Installation of the Deta S1346 requires electrical wiring knowledge. It should be installed according to local electrical regulations by a qualified person. The switch can be wired as a 1-way or 2-way switch. Ensure the power supply is disconnected before beginning any electrical work. The concealed fixing centers (60.3mm) require standard back box mounting.
Compatibility:
This switch is compatible with standard household electrical systems and is designed for 230V AC circuits. It is rated for 10 Amps, making it suitable for most lighting circuits. Verify that the circuit load does not exceed this rating. It can be used with various types of bulbs including incandescent, halogen, and most LED types, though dimmable LEDs may require a specific dimmer switch.
Care:
To clean the Deta S1346, first ensure the power to the switch is turned off at the consumer unit. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the surface. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure no moisture enters the switch mechanism. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish.
