Product Information

Full details

The Triplast A4 Punched Pockets are ideal for students, office professionals, and home organizers looking to protect and archive standard-sized documents. These clear, 40-micron polypropylene sleeves offer a reliable defense against dust, spills, and daily wear, effectively organizing papers within standard ring binders or lever arch files. While these pockets provide excellent visibility and ease of access, users should note that the 40-micron thickness is designed for standard light-to-medium use rather than heavy-duty long-term archival of high-volume stacks.

FAQs

Are these pockets acid-free?

The pockets are made of non-toxic polypropylene, which is generally safe for long-term storage of standard documents.

Can these fit in a US letter size binder?

These are designed for A4 size paper and international standard ring spacing; they may not align perfectly with US 3-ring binders.

How many sheets can one pocket hold?

While the pocket can hold several sheets, it is optimized for 1–10 sheets for the best fit and presentation.

Is the finish glossy or matte?

The finish is clear/glossy, which provides high visibility for the documents inside.

Are these recyclable?

Most polypropylene (PP) products are recyclable, but please check with your local recycling guidelines as capabilities vary by region.

Troubleshooting

Pockets keep tearing at the punch holes

Ensure you are not overfilling the individual pocket with too many sheets, as this adds excessive weight to the reinforced spine.

Difficulty inserting paper into the top opening

Ensure the document is fully flattened before insertion and that no static cling is holding the plastic sides together.

Pros and Cons

Pros

High clarity for easy document reading
Reinforced spine prevents tearing at the punch holes
Compatible with all standard ring binders and lever arch files
Convenient top-opening design saves time
Lightweight and flexible for easy transport

Cons

Not intended for heavy-duty, high-capacity archival
40-micron thickness may crinkle under extreme pressure
Not designed to be waterproof if submerged

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up your filing system is simple. Align the multi-punched strip with the rings of your binder or lever arch file and click them into place. Ensure that your documents are fully inserted to prevent the top edge from catching.

Compatibility

Paper Size: Standard A4 (210mm x 297mm)
Binders: Fits standard 2-ring, 3-ring, and 4-ring mechanisms

Care Instructions

Avoid exposing the polypropylene to extreme heat or direct sunlight for prolonged periods, which can cause the plastic to warp.
To clean, wipe the surface gently with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth.
Do not overstuff the pockets, as this may stretch the material and compromise the integrity of the seams.
