Product Information
Full details
The Coastal Redwood can grow up to 110 meters tall, with a trunk circumference of up to seven meters. The tree has a slender, pyramidal crown with bright green needles. The Coastal Redwood naturally grows in the coastal areas of Northern California and Oregon. It can be propagated by cuttings or seeds. The seeds should be stratified before planting and the tree requires a sunny spot with good soil drainage. During the dry summer, ensure that the Coastal Redwood gets enough water. It is not very frost-resistant and does not tolerate longer periods of frost with temperatures below -10° to -15° Celsius.
