Full details
The Foska 60cm T-Square Ruler is designed for students, architects, and engineers who require consistent precision when drafting or technical drawing. Its primary benefit is the stable T-shaped head that anchors firmly to drawing boards to ensure perfectly straight lines and accurate 90-degree angles; however, users should note that its rigid construction requires careful storage to prevent the blade from bending or losing its square alignment over time.

What is the total length of the ruler?
The ruler blade measures 60cm in length.
Are both imperial and metric units included?
Yes, the ruler features both centimeters (including millimeters) and inches.
Can I use this on a glass desk?

Troubleshooting
Lines are not appearing perfectly horizontal
Verify that the T-head is pressed firmly against the edge of the board and that the board edge itself is not damaged or bowed.
Markings are difficult to see
Wipe the surface with a lightly dampened microfiber cloth to remove dust or accumulated graphite residue.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Provides a stable, non-slip reference for drawing perfectly horizontal lines
- Easy to read dual-scale markings for international project standards
- Generous 60cm length covers most standard drawing paper sizes
- Lightweight yet sturdy for easy transportation between classes or workstations
Cons
- Rigid frame can be difficult to store if desk space is limited
- Not intended for heavy-duty industrial cutting with sharp utility knives
- Requires proper handling to keep the head at an exact 90-degree angle
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup requires no assembly; simply ensure your drawing board or workspace edge is straight. To maintain the accuracy of the square:
- Avoid Impact: Dropping the tool can cause the T-head to misalign, compromising the 90-degree angle.
- Clean Regularly: Wipe the blade with a soft, dry cloth to remove pencil lead or eraser shavings that can accumulate and cause uneven drawing.
- Storage: Store the ruler flat or hang it by the head hole if available. Do not lean it against walls at an angle, as this can cause the long blade to warp over time.
- Compatibility: Works best with standard drafting tables or rigid foam boards. Ensure the table edge is not chipped or uneven, as this will transfer inaccuracy to your drawing.
