Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting Up Your Watch
- Winding: For automatic models, wind the watch by rotating the crown clockwise about 20-30 times if it has stopped. If you wear your automatic watch regularly, the natural movement of your wrist will keep it wound.
- Setting the Time: Pull the crown out to the final position. Rotate the crown to set the correct time.
- Setting the Date: Some models have a date function. Pull the crown out to the middle position and rotate the crown to set the date.
- Securing the Crown: Push the crown back in and screw it down (if applicable) to ensure water resistance.
Compatibility
The Tissot Gentleman is compatible with various strap options, allowing for customization. Ensure you select straps of the correct size to fit your watch.
Care Instructions
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the watch case and bracelet. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
- Water Resistance: Check the water resistance rating of your specific model. Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures or rapid temperature changes.
- Servicing: Have your watch serviced by a qualified watchmaker every 3-5 years to maintain its performance.
