FAQs

Does this shirt fit true to size?

The Nike Springboks Prematch Shirt features an athletic, tapered fit. If you prefer a looser feel, consider sizing up.

Can I wear this for high-intensity training?

Yes, the shirt is designed with performance moisture-wicking materials suitable for training and warm-ups.

Is this an authentic team jersey?

This is the official Nike Prematch Shirt worn by players during warm-up sessions before matches.

How should I dry this shirt?

Air drying is recommended to maintain the fabric properties and protect the graphics from high heat.

Can I use fabric softener?

It is best to avoid fabric softeners, as they can coat the synthetic fibers and reduce the moisture-wicking effectiveness.

Troubleshooting

Fabric snagging or pilling

Wash the shirt inside out and avoid laundering with items containing zippers or hooks that may catch the performance fabric.

Graphics looking worn or faded

Always wash inside out and avoid ironing directly over the team logos or heat-pressed branding.

Pros and Cons

Pros

High-quality Nike construction
Authentic team branding and aesthetics
Moisture-wicking properties for improved comfort
Durable enough for regular athletic use

Cons

Athletic fit may be tight for some wearers
Limited color options outside of black
Requires specific care to maintain performance fabric integrity

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your Nike Springboks Prematch Shirt, turn the garment inside out before washing to protect the team branding and graphics. Machine wash in cold water with similar colors on a gentle cycle. Avoid the use of bleach or harsh fabric softeners, as these can degrade the moisture-wicking performance of the synthetic fibers. For drying, it is highly recommended to air dry the shirt whenever possible to prevent shrinkage and fabric wear from high-heat settings. If using a dryer, select the lowest heat setting available.
