This guide is for anyone looking to restore and maintain the shine on various metal surfaces. Rustins Metal Shine offers an effective way to clean and polish brass, chrome, and other metals, leaving them with a brilliant finish. A potential limitation is that it is most effective on non-ferrous metals and may require additional steps for heavily tarnished or coated surfaces.

It is ideal for cleaning and shining brass, chrome, and most other common metals. Always test on a small, inconspicuous area first if you are unsure about the metal type or its finish.
Apply a small amount with a soft cloth, rubbing evenly over the metal surface. Then, polish off with a clean stockinette, soft cloth, or yellow duster.
It can be used on antique metals, but always proceed with caution. Test on a hidden area first to ensure it doesn't affect any patina or delicate finishes you wish to preserve.
The product is supplied in a 125ml bottle.
Rustins Metal Shine is designed for cleaning and shining, not for repairing physical damage like deep scratches. It will remove tarnish and oxidation to restore shine.
The frequency depends on the environment and how quickly the metal tarnishes. Use as needed to maintain the desired shine on your metal items.
Ensure the metal surface was clean and dry before application. The metal might have a protective coating or heavy oxidation that requires a stronger cleaner or pre-treatment. Try applying more product or polishing more vigorously.
You may not have removed all the residue. Use a clean, dry cloth and buff thoroughly to remove any remaining product. Ensure you are using a clean polishing cloth.
The surface might be excessively dirty or oxidized. Clean the surface with mild soap and water first, dry it thoroughly, and then reapply Rustins Metal Shine.
Setup: No complex setup is required. Ensure the metal surface to be treated is clean and dry before application.
Compatibility: Ideal for use on brass, chrome, and most other common metals. It is not recommended for plated metals where the plating may be thin or damaged, or for coated surfaces. Always test on an inconspicuous area first if unsure.
Care: Apply Rustins Metal Shine using a soft, clean cloth. Rub evenly over the entire metal surface. After application, polish off the residue with a separate clean stockinette, soft cloth, or yellow duster until the desired shine is achieved. Store the bottle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
