It features twenty 0.5watt LEDs providing a bright and even light with both full beam and low level settings. The light unit is mounted in a rugged moulded carry cradle with a flat base and top handle, and the angle can be rotated through 360 degrees. Designed for site operations, this work-light features Makita's Extreme Protection Technology (XPT) for improved resistance to water and dust ingress. It has three tripod mounting options and can be mounted on an optional tripod light stand. Using a 4.0Ah 18v Makita Li-ion battery, the DML805 offers a continuous run time of 6.5 hours on the high setting. The work-light delivers 750 lumens on High mode or 450 lumens on Low mode. With a 5.0Ah 18V LXT battery, it provides up to 8.5 hours of illumination on High mode or up to 17 hours on Low mode. The LED lights illuminate the work area efficiently without the high heat of halogens. Adjusting knobs allow the user to direct the floodlight to the desired angle. Users can choose between battery or corded operation, and a backup battery ensures the light stays on if AC power is lost. The AC cord is easily stored and wrapped around the mounting stand base. The integrated handle can be used as a hanging hook, and the light will flash to alert the user when the battery charge is low. The compact design measures only 8-3/8" long and weighs 5.7 lbs with the battery.
