FAQs
Is this mount waterproof?
The mount materials are water-resistant, but ensure you rinse off salt or dirt after use in harsh conditions.
Can I use this with other cameras?
The mount is designed specifically for the Insta360 GO Ultra and its Action Pod using the 3-prong mounting system.
Does it fit on a thick helmet?
Yes, use the longer of the two provided straps to accommodate larger surface areas like bicycle or climbing helmets.
Will it scratch my bike handlebars?
No, the integrated soft silicone base is specifically designed to protect surfaces from scratches.
Can I adjust the angle while the camera is recording?
The swivel joint is designed for positioning before you start your activity; adjust it to your desired angle before tightening the straps.
Troubleshooting

Strap feels loose on thin handlebars.
Switch to the shorter strap length provided in the kit for a tighter fit.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- High flexibility for mounting on irregular objects
- Soft silicone base protects surfaces and prevents slippage
- Allows for both first-person and third-person camera angles
- Easy to install and adjust without needing tools
Cons
- Not suitable for extremely high-vibration off-road sports
- Elastic straps may wear down over long-term heavy use
- Requires manual adjustment to ensure it does not rotate during impact
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation is straightforward: select the strap length that matches the circumference of your mounting surface, thread it through the mount base, and pull it taut to lock it in place. The mount is specifically engineered for the Insta360 GO Ultra and Action Pod (Model: CINSCBEF). To maintain the longevity of the mount, keep the silicone base clean from dust and debris, as a buildup of dirt can reduce grip. If the straps become soiled, rinse them with water and air dry; avoid using harsh chemicals that could degrade the elasticity of the bands.
