Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Upon receiving your TREK Dual Sport 3, professional assembly is recommended to ensure all components are correctly installed and adjusted for safety and optimal performance. This includes proper torque settings for bolts, brake adjustments, and derailleur tuning.
Compatibility: The bike is designed to accommodate a range of accessories. It features multiple mounting points for front and rear racks, fenders, and a frame bag. Standard pedals and bottle cages can be easily installed. Tire clearance is suitable for up to 2-inch wide tires.
Care: Regular cleaning with mild soap and water is recommended. Keep the chain lubricated using bicycle-specific chain lube. Periodically check tire pressure, brake function, and bolt tightness. For more detailed maintenance, consult the TREK owner's manual or a professional bike mechanic. Inspect the brakes and drivetrain regularly for wear and tear.
