FAQs

Can I fit more than one stick in this bag?

The Kookaburra Edge is designed specifically to hold one hockey stick using the external fasteners.

Is the laptop sleeve large enough for my computer?

The sleeve is designed to fit standard-sized laptops; however, it is recommended to verify your device dimensions against the bag's profile.

Is the bag waterproof?

The bag uses durable materials, but it is not fully waterproof. We recommend using a rain cover in heavy downpours.

How do I clean the rubberised pocket?

Wipe the pocket down with a damp cloth; the rubberised coating is designed to be easily wiped clean.

Is this suitable for air travel?

Yes, its dimensions generally fit within standard cabin bag restrictions, making it excellent for travel.

Troubleshooting

Shoulder straps feel uncomfortable

Loosen the straps and redistribute the weight of the items inside the bag, ensuring heavy gear is placed closest to the back panel.

Stick feels loose in the fastener

Ensure the stick is centered in the fastener and pull the adjustment cord firmly until the grip is secure against the bag.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Generous 37.5-litre storage capacity
Padded laptop protection for commuting
Ergonomic straps for improved comfort
Durable, easy-access rubberised side pocket
Multi-use design suitable for sports and school

Cons

Limited to carrying only one hockey stick
Mesh panels are not waterproof
No integrated rain cover for severe weather

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To achieve the best fit, adjust the padded shoulder straps while the bag is loaded with your typical gear to ensure the weight sits correctly on your back. The stick fastener should be tightened firmly against the shaft to prevent swaying while walking.

Care Instructions:

Regularly empty the bag to allow moisture to evaporate from the mesh panels.
Spot clean exterior fabric using a damp cloth and mild soap.
Avoid machine washing, as this can degrade the padding and hardware.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent material fading.
