Product Information

Full details

The Bic Megalighter Utility Lighter is designed for anyone needing a reliable and safe way to ignite stoves, fireplaces, candles, and BBQs. Its key benefit is the 6 cm extension wand, providing a safe distance during lighting, coupled with a long-lasting fuel supply for up to 750 lights. A minor caveat is its primary focus on utility tasks rather than intricate candle lighting due to its pre-set flame height.

Troubleshooting

Lighter does not ignite

Ensure the lighter is not empty. Check if the flame height adjustment (if applicable on your model) is too low. Keep the nozzle clean and free of debris.

Weak or inconsistent flame

The fuel may be low. If the lighter has been stored for a long time, the internal mechanism might need a few attempts to function optimally. Ensure the nozzle is clear.

Retractable hook is stuck

Gently try to ease the hook out. Avoid excessive force. If it remains stuck, there may be internal obstruction.
