FAQs

Are these rigs compatible with all main lines?

Yes, they can be attached to monofilament, fluorocarbon, or braided main lines using a standard loop-to-loop connection.

What is the breaking strain of the Copper Core leader?

These rigs are rated at 50lb breaking strain, offering high abrasion resistance.

Can I replace the Heli-Clip if it breaks?

The Heli-Clip is integrated into the leader assembly; it is recommended to replace the full rig if any component is damaged.

How do I ensure the hooklink doesn't tangle?

Always ensure the Micro Anti-Tangle Sleeve is securely pushed over the eye of the swivel and the clip after attaching your hooklink.

Are these rigs suitable for use in weed?

Yes, the Edges Naturals color and the slim profile of the leader make it effective in moderate weed conditions.

Troubleshooting

Heli-Clip stiff to open

Gently clean the hinge area of the clip with a soft brush to remove any dried mud or debris.

Leader is kinking

Gently stretch the leader by pulling it through a damp cloth, or store it on a dedicated leader winder between sessions.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up these rigs, attach the loop at the end of the leader to your main line using a loop-to-loop connection. Slide the Micro Anti-Tangle Sleeve onto your hooklink before attaching it to the Heli-Clip to ensure the rig lays flat during the descent. For care, always rinse the rigs in fresh water after use in salt or silty environments to prevent grit buildup in the swivel components. Inspect the leader material for any signs of fraying after landing large fish, and store them in a flat, dry storage rig board to maintain the leader's memory and prevent unwanted kinks.
