FAQs

Can I use this cleanser on my face?

While formulated with high-quality ingredients, this product is specifically designed for the thicker skin of the body. We recommend using products formulated specifically for facial skin to avoid potential irritation.

How often should I use this cleanser?

It is designed for everyday use, but if you have sensitive skin, start by using it every other day to allow your skin to adjust to the exfoliation.

Is this product suitable for vegans?

The Marine Collagen used is derived from marine sources; please review the full ingredient list if you follow a strict vegan lifestyle.

Does this cleanser have a strong fragrance?

The formula is designed to be gentle and refreshing, focusing on performance rather than heavy masking fragrances.

Will this help with body breakouts?

The combination of exfoliating acids can help clear clogged pores, which may assist in managing mild body blemishes.

Troubleshooting

Skin feels slightly tingly during application

This is a normal effect of the Glycolic and Lactic acids. If irritation persists or becomes painful, rinse immediately and reduce frequency of use.

Product is difficult to dispense

Ensure the cap is fully cleared of any dried residue. If the bottle is nearly empty, store it upside down for a few minutes to allow the remaining product to settle.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Refines skin texture through gentle chemical exfoliation
Leaves skin feeling hydrated and soft rather than dry
Contains high-quality ingredients typically reserved for facial care
Suitable for daily use on all skin types

Cons

Requires careful use if you have highly sensitive or reactive skin
Active acids may increase sun sensitivity, requiring SPF application
250ml size may require frequent replenishment for daily full-body use

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To begin using the SkinSense Advanced Collagen Body Cleanser, simply twist the cap to dispense a small amount into your palm or an applicator. It is compatible with most manual shower accessories, such as loofahs or silicone body brushes. Store the bottle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the integrity of the Marine Collagen and Vitamin E. If you are using this product in the morning on areas exposed to the sun, ensure you follow up with a broad-spectrum sunscreen, as the exfoliating acids can make the skin more susceptible to UV damage.
