Product Information
Full details
The Velosso Alessandria Orange Slot Top Swag Voile Panel Curtain is designed for homeowners looking to add a vibrant pop of colour and a touch of elegance to their living spaces without sacrificing natural light. Perfect for those who prefer a soft, diffused aesthetic, this voile swag offers a sophisticated finished look to window frames. While it excels at providing decorative flair and moderate privacy, it is important to note that the sheer fabric is not designed to block out sunlight or provide full blackout coverage, making it best suited for layering or as a decorative accent.

FAQs
Does this package include a pair of curtains?
This package includes one single swag panel.
Can I tumble dry this voile panel?
It is recommended to line dry or hang to dry to avoid potential heat damage to the sheer fabric.
Is the orange colour fast?
The fabric is designed for home use with durable dyes, but we recommend avoiding direct, harsh sunlight for extended periods to prevent potential fading over time.
What type of rod should I use?
A standard decorative curtain rod or a slim tension rod works best with the slot top header.
Will this provide enough privacy at night?
Because this is a voile (sheer) fabric, it offers limited privacy and may not obscure views from the outside once interior lights are turned on.
Troubleshooting
Curtain hangs unevenly
Ensure the slot top is evenly distributed across the rod and check that the rod itself is level on the mounting brackets.
Fabric appears wrinkled after washing
Hang the curtain immediately after the wash cycle while still damp; the natural weight will pull out creases as it dries.
Slot is too tight for the curtain rod
Verify the rod diameter; if the rod is too thick, consider using a thinner, decorative tension rod designed for voile panels.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Adds immediate colour and texture to a room
- Lightweight material allows for natural light filtration
- Simple slot top mechanism for easy setup
- Machine washable for convenient maintenance
- Drapes elegantly to hide curtain rod fixings
Cons
- Provides limited privacy compared to heavier curtains
- Not suitable for blocking sunlight or glare
- Single swag per package requires multiple purchases for wider windows
- Sheer material may require delicate washing cycles
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation is straightforward due to the integrated slot top; simply slide your existing curtain rod through the slot and adjust the gathers to your preferred look. This product is compatible with most standard tension or decorative rods up to the diameter of the slot opening. For long-term care, machine wash the voile on a gentle cycle using mild detergent to preserve the fabric's integrity. Always hang the curtain while slightly damp to allow the weight of the fabric to smooth out any wrinkles naturally, avoiding the need for high-heat ironing which could damage the delicate material.
