Full details
The Wallace & Gromit Butter Dish is designed for fans of the iconic Aardman animation and collectors of unique kitchenware. This ceramic dish offers the primary benefit of keeping butter fresh while serving as a charming conversation piece with its playful 'No Crackers Gromit' motif. A minor caveat for users is that the high-gloss ceramic finish requires careful handling to prevent chipping, and it should be hand-washed to preserve the decal lettering over time.

FAQs
Is this butter dish dishwasher safe?
To maintain the integrity of the design and the quote, we strongly recommend hand-washing only.
What is the material of the butter dish?

Will a full 250g block of butter fit?
It is designed for standard butter sticks. If using a large block, you may need to slice a portion of it to ensure the lid fits securely.
Is the quote printed on both sides?
The design features the quote and the character graphic, intended to be displayed clearly on your kitchen counter.
Can I use this for salted or unsalted butter?
Yes, it is suitable for any type of butter you prefer to keep on your counter.
Troubleshooting
The lid feels slippery when removing.
Ensure your hands are dry when gripping the lid, or use a clean tea towel to get a better purchase on the ceramic surface.
Butter is sticking to the inside of the lid.
Ensure you do not overfill the base, and use a standard-sized butter block to maintain appropriate clearance between the butter and the lid's interior.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To begin using your butter dish, ensure it is placed on a flat, stable surface such as a countertop or dining table. The dish is designed to hold a standard-sized stick of butter.
Care Instructions:
- Always hand-wash the dish and lid using warm, soapy water and a soft sponge.
- Avoid using abrasive scouring pads, as these can scratch the white surface or fade the iconic quote.
- Dry thoroughly after washing to prevent any residue buildup.
- Handle the ceramic pieces with care, as sharp impacts against granite or tile surfaces can result in chips.
