Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: To set up TIMco Rigid Joints, align the joint with the desired 90-degree corner of two boards. Ensure the faces of the boards are flush and square. Use appropriate screws (with a diameter up to 4mm) to fix the joint securely to both boards through the pre-drilled holes. It is recommended to pre-drill pilot holes in the boards if working with harder woods to prevent splitting.
Compatibility: These rigid joints are compatible with various board materials such as wood, MDF, and certain plastics, provided they are of a suitable thickness to be joined effectively. They are designed to work with screws up to 4mm in diameter.
Care: Clean the joints with a damp cloth as needed. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, which could damage the plastic. The durable plastic construction requires minimal maintenance.
