Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Connect your air compressor line to the tool's air inlet.
- Ensure your air supply is regulated to the recommended pressure range of 72 – 116 PSI (5 – 8 Bar).
- Identify the correct adapter for the specific common rail injector you are removing. Refer to injector specifications or compare the adapter's thread size to the injector's connection.
- Thread the chosen adapter securely onto the injector.
- Attach the adapter to the pneumatic puller.
- Apply air pressure slowly to engage the vibration and torque mechanism.
Compatibility:
This set is designed to work with Bosch, Delphi, Denso, and Siemens common rail injectors that feature solenoid or screw connections. The included adapters cover a wide range of metric thread sizes. Always confirm the thread size of the injector you are working on matches one of the provided adapters.
Care:
- After each use, clean the adapters and the puller body with a dry cloth.
- Lubricate the air inlet slightly with pneumatic tool oil if recommended by the tool's specific maintenance schedule.
- Store all components back in the provided blow-molded case to prevent loss and damage.
- Periodically inspect adapters for signs of wear or damage.
