Yes, the semi-waterproof and wipeable fabric makes it suitable for sheltered outdoor use, such as in a kennel or on a covered patio. However, it should not be left exposed to heavy rain or prolonged damp conditions.
The cover is fully zip-removable. Machine wash the cover only at 30°C or below. Do not bleach or tumble dry. Allow the cover to air dry completely before placing it back on the bed.
The bed is constructed from tough 600 Denier Oxford fabric, specifically chosen for its durability and resistance to chewing, making it a better choice for dogs that tend to chew their bedding.
No, only the zip-removable cover is machine washable. The inner cushion and filling should not be washed.
It means the fabric is treated to resist minor spills and light moisture, making it easy to wipe clean. It is not designed to be fully waterproof and prolonged exposure to heavy water may still lead to absorption.
This guide focuses on the product description provided. Please refer to the product's specific dimensions or packaging for exact measurements of the 'Large' size.
Yes, the gnaw-resistant material makes it a good option for puppies who are in their teething phase and prone to chewing.
While the fabric is gnaw-resistant, no bed is completely indestructible. Ensure the dog has appropriate chew toys. For persistent chewing, consider if this bed is suitable for your dog's specific chewing habits.
The bed is semi-waterproof, designed to resist minor spills. For significant or prolonged liquid exposure, the fabric may not prevent saturation. Clean up spills immediately and ensure the bed is dried properly.
Ensure the bed filling is not bunched up. Zip the cover slowly and evenly. If there is resistance, check for any fabric caught in the zipper.
Ensure you are washing the cover at 30°C or below and avoiding bleach or high-heat drying, as per care instructions. Air drying is recommended.
Setup: The Snug & Cosy Pescara Dog Bed arrives ready for use. Simply place it in your desired location. Ensure the bed is positioned on a flat, stable surface.
Compatibility: This large-sized bed is ideal for medium to large dog breeds. It can be used indoors in living rooms, kitchens, or bedrooms, and also outdoors in sheltered areas like patios or kennels, thanks to its durable and semi-waterproof fabric.
