It is a 2mm studded membrane made from durable, flexible high-density HDPE for long-term use, designed for covering damp, salt-contaminated walls.
It protects interior walls from moisture and salt damage, is easy to apply, and is compatible with plastering.
It is intended for above-ground use in residential and commercial properties, particularly for damp or salt-affected walls.
Clean the wall surface, cut the membrane to size, and fix it to the wall using appropriate fixings. Then, apply plaster or "dot and dab" plasterboard.
It is suitable for most interior walls, especially those affected by damp or salt. However, it's not designed for below-ground applications.
No specific maintenance is required after installation. Ensure any water ingress issues are addressed at their source.
No, you must apply plaster or plasterboard onto the membrane first, and then you can paint.
The membrane is designed for long-term use due to its durable high-density HDPE construction.
Ensure the wall surface is clean and free from loose particles. Use appropriate fixings recommended for the substrate.
Make sure that the plaster is compatible with the membrane and applied correctly, following the plaster manufacturer's instructions.
*Care Instructions: The Drybase membrane does not require specific maintenance once installed. Ensure that any water ingress issues are addressed at the source to prevent future damage.*
