Product Information
Full details
The Nuvo Clarineo is a C clarinet, ideal for young beginners and children aged 4 to 12. It is significantly lighter and smaller than a standard Bb clarinet, featuring shorter finger stretches and smaller tone holes to ease the physical challenges of learning. This design encourages practice and builds skills for a smooth transition to a Bb clarinet, potentially giving a child up to three years head start. The Clarino produces a rich, mellow tone, similar to traditional clarinets, and can play a full 3-octave chromatic range. It is suitable for classroom ensembles and comes with learning materials. The package includes two NUVO synthetic reeds and a cane reed. Standard Eb clarinet reeds also fit, and Lgre synthetic reeds are compatible. Maintenance is easy and inexpensive, as the instrument is fully washable in warm, soapy water, making it suitable for shared use in schools. It features a durable plastic body and keywork with waterproof silicon rubber pads. The instrument arrives assembled in a sturdy padded case with a shoulder strap and uses a standard fingering system without duplicate keys. It is available in various colors and includes a fully adjustable thumb rest.
