This board is designed primarily for cheese. The wire cutter is not intended for cutting meat and may become damaged if used on dense products.
The wire is built into the handle assembly. We recommend treating the wire with care to ensure longevity.
The Annibells board uses natural wood finishings safe for food contact.
No, dishwashers use high heat and excessive water which will damage the wood and potentially the wire mechanism.
Soft to semi-soft cheeses like Brie, Gouda, or Fontina provide the best results with the wire cutter.
Check the connection points on the handle and the board base to ensure the wire is hooked securely into its designated slots.
Apply a light coating of food-grade mineral oil to the wooden surface and let it soak in overnight to restore the luster.
Setup is minimal; ensure the cutting wire is properly seated in the groove when not in use. To maintain the board, hand wash only with mild soap and warm water; avoid submerging it in water or placing it in the dishwasher, as this can cause the wood to warp or crack. Periodically treat the wood with a food-safe mineral oil to keep the finish vibrant and protected against moisture. Store in a dry place to prevent the wire from oxidizing.
