FAQs
Is the lion figurine weather-resistant?
It is designed for outdoor use, but it should be stored in a covered or indoor location during harsh weather to maintain its condition.
Will every lion look exactly like the one in the photo?
No. Because each piece is handmade and features a distressed finish, every item will have unique variations in color and texture.
Can this statue be placed on grass?
It is best placed on a firm, level surface like a patio or concrete base to prevent it from sinking or becoming unstable.
How do I clean the statue?
Clean with a damp cloth and mild cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals or scouring pads.
How much does the statue weigh?
The statue weighs 15 kg.
Can I leave the statue outside all year round?
It is recommended to store it in a covered area during extreme winter conditions or severe storms to prolong the life of the finish.
Troubleshooting
Visible surface imperfections
These are part of the intentional distressed finish. If they appear to be structural cracks rather than aesthetic weathering, contact customer support.
Accumulation of dirt or moss
Use a soft brush and a mild soap solution to gently clean the surface. Do not use high-pressure washers.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Striking, detailed lion design
- Suitable for both indoor and outdoor decor
- Heavy, stable construction
- Unique, handmade character
Cons
- Requires storage during harsh weather
- Finish is intentionally distressed (not pristine)
- Significant weight makes frequent repositioning difficult
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup is straightforward: identify a flat, stable surface for the statue. Given its weight, ensure the placement area can support a permanent load of 15 kg. To maintain the figurine, use only mild cleaners and a soft cloth to remove dust or debris; avoid abrasive scrubbing which could damage the weathered texture. To ensure longevity, the manufacturer strongly recommends moving the statue to a covered area or inside during winter months, heavy storms, or extreme temperatures to prevent weather-related wear.
