FAQs
Does this shade include the lamp base or ceiling cable?
No, this product is the lamp shade only. It is designed to fit onto your existing lamp base or ceiling pendant fixture.
Can I use this with a high-wattage incandescent bulb?
No, you must use a bulb with a maximum of 42W to ensure safety and prevent heat damage to the fabric.
Is the gold lining painted or foiled?
The interior features a high-quality gold finish designed to reflect light and enhance warmth.
Can this be used in a bathroom?
This shade is not moisture-rated. It is recommended for dry indoor areas only.
Will this fit a standard B22 bayonet cap fitting?
This shade is designed for an E27 ES fitting. You may require a shade adapter if you are using a B22 fitting.
Troubleshooting
The light seems too dim.
Ensure you are using a high-lumen LED bulb that fits the 42W limit, as the gold interior is reflective but the black exterior restricts lateral light spread.
The shade sits unevenly.
Check that the shade ring is tightened properly against the lamp holder and that the lamp holder is hanging vertically.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Important Considerations:
- Bulb Requirements: Maximum power rating is 42W. Do not exceed this limit to prevent heat buildup.
- Compatibility: Always measure the length of your chosen bulb to ensure it fits comfortably within the 20 cm height of the shade.
- Maintenance: To keep the velvet fabric looking new, use a soft lint roller or a dry microfiber cloth to remove dust. Avoid using water or liquid cleaners, as these may damage the velvet pile.
