Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup:
- Ensure the jack is placed on a firm, level, and solid surface.
- Verify that the load to be lifted is positioned correctly over the jack's saddle.
- Slowly open the release valve by turning the screw counter-clockwise to allow the ram to lower to its initial position.
- Attach the handle and pump it vigorously to raise the ram to the desired lifting height.
Compatibility:
This jack is generally compatible with most cars, vans, and light trucks within its 2-tonne weight capacity. Always confirm the vehicle's weight before use.
Care:
- Keep the jack clean and dry when not in use. Wipe down with a dry cloth.
- Store the jack in its provided carry case to protect it from dirt and moisture, and to contain any grease or oil.
- Periodically check the hydraulic fluid level. If low, top up with appropriate hydraulic jack oil (refer to manual for type).
- Inspect the ram and seals for any signs of damage or leakage before each use.
- Lightly lubricate the threaded components of the cast base after disassembly if necessary for easier reassembly.
