The LavaTap Plumb Tub is an essential tool for radiator maintenance and general plumbing tasks, designed to catch water and prevent messes. This flexible draining tool is ideal for cleanly removing or bleeding radiators, saving you time and effort while protecting your floors from water damage. Its versatile design makes it suitable for both professional plumbers and DIY enthusiasts. The Plumb Tub securely clips onto pipes ranging from 10mm to 22mm in diameter, including copper and plastic types, thanks to its snap mechanism. Crafted from tough, chemical-resistant PVC, it remains flexible enough to navigate tight spaces, such as under floorboards or behind radiators, where rigid tools cannot reach. It functions effectively as a radiator water catcher, a radiator drain tray, or a general plumbers water catcher bag, capable of holding up to 1.4 litres of liquid, perfect for small to medium radiator jobs. For optimal results and to minimize leaks, it is recommended to select a clip-on hole size slightly smaller than the pipe diameter, ensuring a snug fit. This product is compatible with various plumbing accessories like radiator removal tools, radiator bungs, drain hoses, header tank bungs, and radiator capping tools, making it a valuable addition to any plumbing toolkit.
