Product Information

Full details

The Alba HORGIANT is a professional-grade timepiece designed for large-scale environments like open-plan offices, warehouses, or public waiting areas. Its standout feature is its impressive 60cm diameter and clear, high-visibility numerals that remain readable from up to 50 metres away, making it an ideal choice for high-traffic or wide-open spaces. A minor caveat for users is that the required LR6/AA battery is not included with the purchase, so you will need to provide your own power source upon installation.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Silent quartz mechanism avoids distracting ticking
  • Professional, durable construction materials
  • Large 60cm display for high visibility

Cons

  • Not suitable for outdoor use

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Installation:

  1. Ensure the wall surface is load-bearing and can support the 3.1kg weight of the clock.
  2. Use appropriate hardware (screws/anchors) for your specific wall type (drywall, concrete, or brick).
  3. Insert one LR6/AA battery into the rear compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
  4. Rotate the time-setting dial on the back mechanism to adjust the hands to the current time.

Care:

  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the glass lens to avoid scratches.
  • Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, as these may damage the ABS plastic frame.
  • For best results, replace the battery once a year to prevent leakage and ensure continued high-precision timing.
