Explore the versatility and strength of Speciality Metals Mild Steel ERW Round Tubing, ideal for a wide range of construction and manufacturing applications. Our Mild Steel round tubes are particularly suited for frameworks, supports, and structural components where complex, heavy-duty performance is essential. Mild Steel ERW Round Tubing is made when steel strip is welded to form a tube shape. The tube is continuously seam welded, resulting in a neat weld running along the inside of the tube. Mild steel is a quality strong metal. However, it is not rust-proof and may do so over time. Use galvanized or stainless steel if you need resistance to rust. If the product shows signs of rust, remove it with WD-40 or fine sanding. Mild steel can be welded and is also suitable for painting. Mild steel is magnetic.
