Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up the RP-AX50, plug the device into a wall outlet near your router, download the Asus Router app, and follow the on-screen prompts to sync it with your existing network. For optimal performance, ensure the device is located in an open area away from large metal objects or heavy electronic interference. Compatibility is broad, supporting all Wi-Fi standards, though it is specifically designed to function best as an AiMesh node with Asus hardware. For care, keep the unit clear of dust, ensure adequate airflow around the ventilation ports, and update the firmware periodically through the app to maintain security patches and performance improvements.
